Engagement Pictures!!

We're madly in love with our photographer Ashley O'Dell - who drove her little Zipcar all the way out to Charlton, MA to meet us for a session at Camp Bement - the place where our love began. :) We spent a LOT of time holding up a canoe (as you'll see -- or at least it FELT like a long time), but were in general able to traverse all the way up the hill to Adventure Base, even. Here are some of our favorites.

Our Family

Our family, though we suppose not "official" yet, consists of Rachel and myself, our dogs (Copper and Hunter), our kitty Abbott -- and our first born -- Pedro the snowman.

Jiminy Peak Photos

Rachel and I were able to visit Jiminy Peak again in August, and get a ride to the top to check out the view from the ceremony site. I am even more reassured that this place is going to be just perfectly beautiful (weather permitting). While the whether wasn't perfect for our ride up, my mother also went up this Fall (just a few weeks before peak foliage, when our wedding will be). Here's a little teaser of photos.

This is the backdrop for our ceremony!
My mom captured a better view from the top.
This large fire pit will be roaring for our outdoor cocktail hour and all through the night.
This is the Berkshire Express, the large 6-seater ski lift to take you up top to the ceremony site.
This was a table set up for a wedding that was going on the day we visited.
We captured some views, but not nearly as good as my mom's.
That's the Jiminy complex down there, the large building is where our reception is.

We chose Jiminy Peak as the ceremony and reception site, and we're really excited about it! (You can see the blog entry for why.)
